VÄKEVÄ MAA -sculpture park is located in Pirkanmaa region, where the communities of Kuhmalahti, Luopioinen, Pälkäne and Kangasala display all the art works in their countryside landscape.

VÄKEVÄ MAA -sculpture park project in Finland aims to facilitate a strong link between nature and art by inviting artists to create ecologically
friendly art work in the countryside communities. The project is EU-funded for years 2005-2007. During this time VÄKEVÄ MAA hopes to initiate a continuous process between the art world and surrounding communities which enables to run the sculpture park also in the future. VÄKEVÄ MAA is a member of the international Terra Artis -Sculpture parks.

VÄKEVÄ MAA -sculpture park operates by strong ethical principles of non-violence, acceptance, equality and ecological durability.
